Vocal Process and the Spoken Voice...
For
presenters, actors, voice teachers, and classroom teachers.
Vocal Process runs
practical courses on vocal development and exploration, problem
solving, improved communication and vocal pedagogy. For the last
seven years
Gillyanne Kayes has been teaching a
pedagogy module for the MA in Voice Studies (MAVS) at the Central
School of Speech and Drama in London.
"Overall
this has had a positive effect on my presentation skills and
reduced the stress on my vocal folds. If my throat hurts I can
now do something to address it, so a completely converted thumbs
up from me"
"For my part I thought it was an
excellent course, delivered in a very accessible manner. I never
once felt that I had to force myself to do some of the exercises
(individual or group)—despite being well outside my comfort zone
much of the time. I thought that the 'personal coaching' element
was particularly useful. All in
all, one of the best “personal skills” courses that I’ve been
on."
