Vocal Process knows
that you care how information about you is used and shared and we
appreciate your trust in us to do that carefully and sensibly. This
notice describes our privacy policy. By visiting the Vocal Process
website, you are accepting and consenting to the practices described
in this Privacy Notice.
1. Statement
of intent: The information we learn from
customers helps us personalise and continually improve your
experience at the Vocal Process website. We use the information to
handle orders, deliver products and services, process payments,
communicate with you about orders, products, services and
promotional offers, update our records and generally maintain your
account with us, and recommend products, courses and services that
might be of interest to you.
From time to time, you
will be asked to submit personal information about yourself (for
example, name and email address, and so on) in order to receive or
use services on our website. Such services include newsletters,
competitions, ordering products and reserving places on courses.

details in the fields requested, you enable Vocal Process Limited
and its product/service providers to provide you with the services

treat that information in accordance with this policy. Vocal Process
Limited will act in accordance with current legislation and aim to

INFORMATION YOU GIVE
US: we receive and store any information you enter on our website or
give us in any other way. You can choose not to provide certain
information but then you might not be able to take advantage of many
of our features, order products or reserve places on courses.
AUTOMATIC INFORMATION:
Like many other websites, Vocal Process Ltd receives and stores
certain types of information about website visits (visit tracking).
This enables us to monitor our website's performance, the number and
type of visits, the geographical and internet source of these
visits, etc., etc. This tracking is non-invasive and is made
available to us by our Internet Presence Provider (host).
EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS:

3. Use and
storage of your personal information (Data
Protection): Any
personal information provided to or gathered by the Vocal Process
website is controlled by Vocal Process Limited of
Alder Hollow, 10 West
Wall, Presteigne LD8 2BY, UK.
When you supply any
personal information to the Vocal Process website (for example, for
newsletter registration or reserving a place on a course) we have legal obligations towards you in the way
we deal with that data. We must collect the information fairly, that
is, we must explain how we will use it (see the notices on
particular web pages that let you know why we are requesting the
information) and tell you if we want to pass the information on to
anyone else. In general, any information you provide to Vocal
Process Limited will only be used within the company or by our
service providers. It will never be supplied to anyone outside Vocal
Process Limited without first obtaining your consent, unless we are
obliged or permitted by law to disclose it. Also, if you engage in
any disruptive behaviour on vocalprocess.co.uk (such as attempting to
‘hack’ our website), and Vocal Process Limited considers such
behaviour to be serious and/or repeated, we may use whatever
information that is available to us about you to stop such
behaviour. This may include contacting relevant third parties such
as the police, your employer, school or email provider.
We will hold your
personal information on our systems for as long as you use the
service you have requested, and remove it in the event that the
purpose has been met or you request that we do so (email
privacy@vocalprocess.co.uk). Where personal information is held for people who
are not yet registered but have taken part in other services (for
example, attending a course), that information will be held only as
long as necessary to ensure that the service is run smoothly. We
will ensure that all personal information supplied is held securely,
in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
For some of our
services Vocal Process Limited may contact you for a number of
purposes related to the service you have signed up for. For example,
we may wish to provide you with password reminders or notify you
that the particular product you have ordered has been dispatched. We
will not contact you for promotional purposes, such as notifying you
of improvements our services or new products on vocalprocess.co.uk
unless you specifically agree to be contacted for such purposes at
the time you submit your information on the website, or at a later
time if you sign up specifically to receive such promotional
information.
4. Access to
your personal information: You have the
right to request a copy of the personal information Vocal Process
Limited holds about you and to have any inaccuracies corrected. We

5. Users 16 and under: If you are aged 16 or under, please
get your parent/guardian’s permission beforehand whenever you
provide personal information to the Vocal Process website. Users
without this consent are not allowed to provide us with personal
information.
6. Agents: we employ other companies and individuals to
perform functions on our behalf. Examples include delivering
packages, sending postal mail and email, removing repetitive
information from customer lists, analysing data, providing marketing
assistance and processing credit card payments. They have access to
personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not
use it for other purposes. Further, they must process the personal
information in accordance with this Privacy Notice and as permitted
by the UK’s Data Protection Act.

Promotional offers: sometimes we send
offers to selected groups of Vocal Process Limited customers on
behalf of other businesses. When we do this, we do not give that
business your name and address. If you do not want to receive such
offers, please ensure you check the appropriate boxes when
completing your application form.
8. Business
transfers: As we continue to develop our
business, we might sell or buy stores, subsidiaries or business
units. In such transactions, customer information generally is one
of the transferred business assets but remains subject to the
promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Notice (unless, of course,
the customer consents otherwise). Also, in the unlikely event that
Vocal Process Limited or substantially all of their assets are
acquired, customer information will of course be one of the
transferred assets.
8. Conditions
of Use, Notices and Revisions: If you
choose to visit the Vocal Process website, your visit and any
dispute over privacy is subject to this Privacy Notice and our
Conditions of Use, including limitations on damages and application

Conditions of Use will change also. We may email periodic reminders

information that we have about you and your account. We stand behind
the promises we make, however, and will never materially change our
policies and practices to make them less protective of customer
information collected in the past without the consent of affected
customers.
Examples of ‘Automatic Information’ we collect: Like many
other business with websites we track visits to vocalprocess.co.uk.
Examples of the information we collect and analyse include the
Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the
Internet, email addresses, browser type and version, your operating system and platform,
purchase history, which we sometimes aggregate with similar
information from other customers, the full Uniform Resource Locators
(URL) clickstream to, through and from our website (including date
and time), products you viewed or searched for, and any phone number
used to call our customer services.
