Overview
Where does power come from in your voice?
Do you have to train like an opera singer to have that power, or is
there another way?
How do West End Belters and Rock and Pop singers make their powerful
sounds? Is it all down to the microphone or are they producing their
voices in a special way?
This workshop will answer these questions to help YOU to find your
own power voice.
In this practical workshop we will explore ways to find and
‘support’ that power in your voice. The work will include warm-ups,
clear explanations of ‘how to do’ including practical application in
song material. Please come prepared to explore and work on your own
voice in a supportive atmosphere.
This course is suitable for singers wanting to improve in any of the specific areas named above.
The techniques are also suitable for choir trainers, teachers and
vocal coaches to use in their work, as they can be learned and
taught in a group.
