 Miller's
Yard is a health, education and training centre dedicated to all
aspects of positive living. The studio can seat up to 60 people, and
there's an onsite organic/fairtrade coffee bar. There is nearby
long term parking at the end of the aptly named Gillygate. and York railway station is a
short walk away.
By Car
From the South, take the A1036 into York, and head for the Railway
station. Continue on the A1036 past the Railway station and across
the river. Go straight ahead at the traffic lights onto Gillygate
- continue to the end of Gillygate, at the traffic lights there go
straight ahead. Union Terrace car park (long stay) is directly on your left
just beyond the traffic lights. Walk back down Gillygate - Millers
Yard is on the right hand side of the road.
From the North, take the A19 Shipton Road into York - at Bootham Bar
(the stone gateway in the city walls) traffic lights turn left onto
Gillygate. Continue to the end of Gillygate, at the traffic lights
there go straight ahead, Union Terrace car park is directly on your
left just beyond the traffic lights. Walk back down Gillygate
-Millers Yard is on the right hand side of the road.
By Train to York railway station, then a 10-minute walk. Turn
left out on to Station Road. Pass through the town walls and
continue on Station Road/Museum Street across the river bridge. Turn
left onto St Leonard's Place and continue to the junction by the Art
Gallery. Cross over the road named "Bootham" at the traffic lights,
and walk down Gillygate.
Miller's Yard is around 200 yards from the traffic lights on the
left-hand side of Gillygate.
